Screen sharing

When you share your screen, the video is processed entirely inside your browser to find your position on the map. No frames or screenshots are ever sent to our servers.

Account (optional)

Signing in with Google is optional. If you do, we store your email address, name, profile picture and Google account ID, along with the markers you have collected. Comments and images you post are visible to other visitors, without your name.

Stored on your device

Your minimap setup, map filters and settings are saved in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. Your collected markers are stored there too, and are synced to your account only when you sign in.

Browser extension

The optional teyvatgps Shortcuts extension only listens for its own keyboard shortcuts, never for any other keys and passes them to an open teyvatgps.com map tab. It runs only on teyvatgps.com and does not collect, store or send any data.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and only reports aggregated numbers.

Announcements

Announcements on the home and news pages come from our Discord server. Their images load from Discord, which can see your IP address.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Learn more about how Google uses data in ads. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
